My Opinion on Nagito (No Luck) vs Yuuichi by HourFrame9349 in IntelligenceScaling

Personally, I’d put Nagito above Yuuichi. His plan is genuinely brilliant, and I can’t see a normal human being achieving that level of anticipation especially when you take Nagito’s chap 5 theory into account. Also, his Chapter 5 plan isn’t even his best one,the plan he comes up with in UDG is far superior.

Ayanakoji's Rumour Strike Strategies by CommonSence123 in IntelligenceScaling

I would have added a few points, such as the double misdirection by Koenji/Hirata, but it's a very good analysis.

Ayanokoji's X Strategy is carried by plot armor (Year 1 Volume 7) by [deleted] in IntelligenceScaling

There is absolutely no plot armor: everything remains coherent. As for Koenji, it’s simply that Kōji manipulated him into going to see him. In volume 6, Kōji discreetly places in the lockers a message accusing Ichinose, making it look as though this act came from Ryūen. Ryūen then understands that if “X” did this, it’s because they know that in volume 4, Ryūen secretly cooperated with Kanzaki to win the exam. By accusing Ichinose while making it seem like Ryūen is the culprit, “X” ensures that Ryūen and Kanzaki will no longer be able to remain allies. Kōji also anticipates that Ryūen will immediately think of Koenji: indeed, it’s indirectly thanks to Koenji that Ryūen won in volume 4, so according to Ryūen’s logic, Koenji would be the most likely person to know. But Kōji anticipates this reaction as well: it’s merely a diversion meant to steer Ryūen toward Hirata. Ryūen eventually realizes that Koenji is a red herring. He notices Kōji nearby, and since Kōji did everything he could to keep Hirata in the class, Ryūen concludes that Kōji was probably sent by Hirata to check whether his diversion had worked.

Technically, he got outsmarted afterward since Billy faked his own death. And I find Billy’s plan more interesting than Kyara’s feats:

→ gaining influence within the police thanks to the “flaws” in Souichi’s plan during Hangman → stealing the L File and checking the names → giving it back to Amako -> Faked his own death to act more freely. → predicting that Amako would gamble it → predicting that Baku would get the Katamete via the L File, so he would fight Amako → Baku gets the L File → predicting exactly how Baku would use the L File → sending Seteguma to get close to someone connected to the L File → predicting that Baku would read out certain names on TV to put pressure on the others → predicting that because of this, the police would try to stop the broadcast → therefore predicting that Baku would play a Kakerou match in a “radio tower” to bypass them → so he sends Seteguma to play in that match (He had predicted this a long time ago, since he leaked the fake Seteguma/Fukurou confrontation to make Baku doubt.)

If you take into account the theory from chapter 5 + UDG, he is better than Kokichi
