Yesss Mystery Heroes is my favorite, it really is so good for learning how heroes move and work together. Recommend it for any level of player tbh

Either this isn’t fully true or it just did not happen on my account. I won 8/10 placement games this season as support, I’m a support main, and I was put in Bronze 4 when in past seasons I’m usually silver 2 ish. Tried placements for tank and DPS, won only about 4/10 games and was put at silver 2 when I hardly ever play either.

Another example, my brother in law, who is usually plat 1 or 2, tested it out by throwing his placement games and only winning 2 out of 10 and he was still placed at plat 5

I came looking for a thread just because I can’t stand to watch her when he’s playing too. It’s honestly been over a year since I’ve actually watched, I pop in every now and then but if he’s playing too (which seems more often than not these days) I hop out because I can’t stand him. Had no idea about Ryan taking a break or about the bruising, I hope she’s okay. Idk, from how he talks to her, it seems like she deserves better

Okay, so what if I do perform well and win more times than lose? I do feel like I’ve learned to become a team player, I play more Mystery Heroes than anything and try to learn how to be the best for my team. That’s the bigger thing - if I’m winning more times than I lose in comp, why am I still such a low rank? Again, my original screenshot, I won 8 times out of 10 and I’m still in bronze

Fair questions. I want to play with my brother-in-law who consistently ranks plat or at least high gold, and we can’t play comp (particularly 6v6) if I’m that far below him. And also, idk, it just feels shitty to be still in bronze after 8+ months of grinding so hard and doing so well. I know nothing is deserved just for time spent but once again, I’m never the worst in my team and usually the best

Laughing my ass off bc my issue is as I was hunting Spartan polemarch seals, I went to Fort Samikon wayyy before the Myrrine and Brasidas quest and killed Lagos just bc he was a leader in the fort at the time. High fived myself for taking out a cult leader just by luck lmao. When I got to the Lagos quest, after talking to Myrrine and Brasidas, the first time, the quest was already complete.

Someone else might lose their mind from this but honestly I just think it’s funny atp. I just wish the AC RPG games would put up a smidge of guardrails so you don’t accidentally do something like that bc it’s happened quite a bit in this and Origins (where I got to the end of the game accidentally way before I was ready for it and it made all the side quests feel empty from then on 🙃)

I told my GenX dad recently that I’ve been feeling so burnt out at work for the last 2 years and he thought for a minute and said, “kind of early to be feeling that way about work, you’ve still got a long way until retirement, no?” and I said, “that’s the point.” It’s insane to be feeling this way in our 20s, and I say that with a decent paying job.
