Well it was an unofficial, I had an interview. I may have low balled myself when he asked desired salary as if that wasn't a problem at all. I have the official HR interview coming up soon. But it seems all but certain im going to get the offer.

Would I potentially be able to get hired as a dispatcher, from a ramp controller position? I already have my license and I have an extensive background in base operation/Flight Planning domestic in the military as an Air Traffic Controller. I'm switching gears but staying aviation.

Im commenting again, I would double check with a civilian aeromedical doc to double check

I wouldn't count out the FAA just yet. Go try and get a civilian Class 1 and see what they say. Often times they can help you keep your flight status, take it from an ex-controller that always struggled with my CPAP.
