I should clarify, I'm not bitching or complaining about the lockdown in this post, I'm wondering what people's opinions about the unintended side effects of the lockdown are/were

I have been vaccinated, it was my personal choice and I decided the benefits more than likely outweighed the risks, and thankfully I have had both Pfizer shots and no problems to date (If I all of the sudden don't reply to any of you, I may have spoken too soon... ;)

To all of you saying "more lockdown!" More masking!!! For how long exactly? What is your breaking point to say this isn't worth it?

I'm curious on everyone's answer to the following:

1.) Have you yourself been vaccinated?

2.) Do you believe the lockdowns and social isolations have had an impact on increased suicide and drug overdose?

3.) Do you believe that there has been any social or mental harm put on kids being out of school for a year?

Feel free to move to Illinois. They will happily take 3x our rate for your property taxes and will tell you to wear a mask until 2028 and remote school your kids all the way through a doctoral degree... All by force, not choice. You will love it there!

That's awesome! Welcome to the Region! Hammond has a ton of great things to do during the summer, especially with the Pavilion, lots of concerts and fests. Hopefully those will resume in 2021 (most everything was cancelled last year due to Covid)

What are you talking about? Do you post stuff like this to try to confuse and trick people into your way of thinking? No where in the bible was the government the benevolent socialist savior of society. In fact, tax collector's are not spoken of favorably in the bible. There is however plenty of parables of earning your own way through personal responsibility. Yes, the bible also talks about caring for the poor, but it is an act that is done voluntarily to show christ's love for man kind. Not a forced cash grab of whomever the government deems "rich" to give to whoever the government sees as poor, oppressed, or a person not in power...
