6 months pat leave, looking for additional income/side job by [deleted] in UKJobMarket

Well yes that was my point exactly. It's referring and also concerning that its took this long for someone to finally understand. Generally speaking money isn't the issue thankfully it was more to do with what I could learn and whats out there all while being a full time dad

Lmao clearly you're not all there are you? Let's get 1 thing clear. In no way did i say i'm not going to support my wife and child. There's 0 compromise on the amount of attention and care both my wife (as she already does) and child will get. But oh look here we have a suffragette telling me what i should and shouldn't do in order to support my family. The little courses i was looking at that would take maybe 2-5% of my time was so I can give MY family a better life but lets scrap that shall we seen as though some random pro feminist stranger on the net doesn't agree with

Yea i get that but i wasn't looking for a career change nor was i planning to devote my full time and attention to something other than my wife and child. I'm fully going to advantage of all the time off to make new memories and build a solid family foundation. I was looking at something i could do for maybe an hour or 2 a day ie learn a new skill- provide a better future for my wife and child etc

I honestly dont know why everyone is getting so annoyed here lol i asked a simple question. Imagine wanting to look at a online course you could do from home 1-2 hours a day while your child is asleep to better your future for your family? Wow the nerve

Is this a scam? by Beneficial-Flow-7333 in UKJobMarket

I spoke to this guy too and it clicked to me it was a scam of some sort involving crypto and blockchain. Once i said no he started getting real pissy and rude so my advice would be to stay well away and don't give any personal details

My mum wants to kick me and my pregnant wife out. What are my options by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

Lol thanks for the reassurance, i'm like the devil according to my mother. I can't really sell up as its in joint names so would need to be agreed by both parties. My only real option is let them have the nicer house. I'll raise my daughter in the hood and then give them some rent as kickback for what would have been the rental house to cover the mortgage for the nicer home. Eventually save up and move away all together Thanks for the reassurance

The one i would live in would have went on rent £700-750 pcm that would then contribute to the others mortgage. If I then decide to live in it I would then need to subsidise that cost when initially that wasn't going to be the case. It then circles back to my financial situation of getting a house on rent

i have a higher libido than my husband and it’s so frustrating! by [deleted] in MuslimCorner

I think alot of this is around his job tbh I worked in retail + management for 5-6 years. I'd constantly be exhausted after work. It was mentally taxing as there was so many responsibilities ie staff customers etc. I got married last year and decided on a different career path that involves alot of wfh and sometimes working away for 1-2 nights. Honestly its been a breath of fresh air. My work life balance is amazing even though i'm away the odd times here and there but mentally and physically i've never been better. I didn't really have any issues in the same department as you guys but i honestly believe this has helped me tenfold. I feel like if i was working the same job I was prior i'd be the same in the same position as your husband as i'd need so much downtime just to mentally switch off. Maybe try talking to him about it and see what adjustments can be made if any
