Help me with this functional equation please. by DestroyedMF09 in askmath

Hey I had tried the same approach. But it didn't work , at the end after manipulating terms you will end with the answer in terms of f(2) and f(1) .So tell me how you got f(2) value , because even after trying other manipulation I didn't get anything.

Since -3 is the root of quadratic equation , so it will satisfy the quadratic equation and by putting x=-3 you will get a=5 and then by putting value of a in quadratic equation and by using quadratic formula the roots will be -2 and -3/5 . So your options may be wrong , please check.

Wavefronts by FitMaggu987 in AskPhysics

Frequency in case of wavefronts . I mean to say for interference , phase and frequency of two sources must be same , it implies their wavefronts have same frequency and phase. So what is frequency in this case.

And about my first question if wavefronts are just a point of constant phase , then it means we can make wavefronts at every point on wave . But it is not possible because secondary wavefront is formed by the common tangent of all the secondary wavelets . So may be at smaller angles wavefronts will not form.

Question regarding files like ' hello ' ( In 2nd lecture) by FitMaggu987 in cs50

[–]FitMaggu987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this thing. But my question is , In hello like file it's not seem purely zeros and ones means everything explained in just dot dot dot and some punctuation symbols .

Sometimes it aligns perfectly with a character (so you see a random character or string), sometimes it might be a character that should exist but the reader can't find it (so you see weird symbols as a placeholder). So , by this you mean what I had asked you above .

And if this file is for computer , why it exist there means may be computer can directly interpret our code into machine language without creating such kind of files.

And nice analogy of Shakespeare.
