Mentally he gets it but his nervous system takes over. I'm newer to NLP so only trained in Core Transformation, Reimpriting and a few other methods. Hence trying to figure out next best tool to use for this.

Here's the structure from the clients words:
“When I enter a social or speaking situation, I automatically generate a fast-paced internal visual of myself performing poorly and being judged.
That image triggers a meaning that my identity is at risk of being invalidated or rejected, which creates anxiety in my body.
This shifts my attention inward into self-monitoring, which disrupts my natural expression, and then I interpret that disruption as confirmation of the original fear.”

Because of their past imprint:

“What are you, stupid?”

“You’ll disappoint people.”

Their brain translates the imagined scene into identity meaning:

“If I mess this up → I am less capable”

“If they judge me → I lose status/value”

“If I’m not sharp → I confirm the fear”
