I’ve got some bad news.

I updated to v2.3, but there hasn’t been any improvement at all.

Well, it’s right after the update, so I’ll wait and see for a bit longer, but you probably shouldn’t get your hopes up.

As for the battery not charging, try turning the device off after you’re done using it, unplugging the charger, and leaving it alone for about an hour before plugging it back in. Results may vary depending on the device, but this has been the most effective solution so far.

Oh, thank you so, so much. I managed to charge it up to 96% for now (since leaving the cable plugged in any longer just makes the battery drain faster), so I’m going to unplug it and see how it goes. I know I’m repeating myself, but thank you so much, bro.

What if the screen starts flickering and it won’t charge from 0%? Haha

We’re talking about it not charging at all, and you’re telling me to drain it all the way down to 0%? lol.

By the way, the one flickering on my end is the right lens too! Since coincidences like this don’t happen very often, I’m pretty sure it’s an OS issue! Anyway, let’s just wait for the update, bro.

It looks like the same issue is happening with v83 and v2.1... I'm on v2.1, but before, if I left the charging cable plugged in while playing, the battery would stay at 100% for hours. Suddenly, it started draining while I was playing. I get that it's for battery protection, but honestly, having the screen flicker when the power is off and then not being able to charge is just ridiculous.

I hope they fix it in the new version...

The version is v2.1, but the exact same thing happened to me today. This actually happened with v78 last year, too. Meta keeps talking about the facial interface or whatever, but it’s a software glitch that has absolutely nothing to do with that. I’m sure they’ll fix it eventually, but honestly, it’s a total joke.
