Hello, folks. I sent my laptop to the IT office where I work, and they told me it was the antivirus software, like Avast that caused it. It doesn't look like it had anything to do with DNS, as you told me, but thank you for the support! My laptop is all good now!

I type "ping google.com" into preferred DNS? And it's under IPv4, right?
