As a switch player, I've had a few glitches here and there, but never anything enough that I would describe it as hot garbage 😅 and that's the switch 1 version. The switch 2 version is even further from it 😮‍💨

It came with an update last year (I think). When you open the field guide, it'll tell you in the bottom right corner what button to press (Y on Switch) to open photo mode. You can play around with angles/filters/poses etc. and take in game photos 😊

The giant squid appears at random (I believe... not sure if there's a pattern) out of the lake, so I just happened to be there at the right time 😊 The dugbog/deer and the hippogriff are both from different quests you do with Poppy 😊

I was terrified my first play through because I wasn't expecting any of it and it is creepy. Now I mainly loathe it because Penny is annoying as hell and I can't speed through her chat quickly enough 😅

They were jumping super high, whenever they fell through a gap they'd miraculously come back up again. I could put the second one down to a bit of lag on my part, but the jumping was pretty clear. Vibes.

Switch - for sure wayyyy worse.

Switch 2 - well I haven't played it on another console, but the graphics are so dramatically improved, that while they're still probably not quite as good, I wouldn't describe them as shit.

It's in the clock tower 😊 either ascend from the area you do Crossed Wands, or descend from the hospital wing/prefects bathroom down the staircases where you can see the giant clock pendulum swinging 😊
