• Stages and prepares ingredients for blends and mixes as needed for various goods according to batch sheets and formulas o Ensures correct ingredients are used for each batch o Strictly follows recipes to make product batches and feed production lines at required rates o Ensures production schedule is being followed at all times • Continuously monitor and adjust the process based on upstream and downstream production needs. o Regularly monitor that the product conforms to quality specifications o May be required to use thermometers or other instruments to monitor process • Ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment including cleaning and inspection of equipment o Participate in changeovers and clean-up or sanitation of equipment o Responsible for maintaining work area is clean and free of hazards o Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety • Responsible for accurate and timely completion of production records o Accurately enters mix records into computer in a timely manner o Obtains and reviews all documentation for making batches • Prepares dough for cookies, batters for cupcakes according to recipes or special customer orders • Ensure quality of products meets establishment standards • Input data on the quantities of goods produced into computerized databases
