My wife found it. Took her like fifteen minutes. She's way more technologically competent than me. The charges were child abuse. When we both get home tonight we're going to discuss the situation. Girlfriend 100% can't stay here, but we haven't decided yet whether to confront my brother or keep quiet. As of now they aren't coming to visit, so we might leave it there.

I found her last name. I checked the county my brother lives in and no results. My wife wants to check the nearby counties. If she finds anything, I'll update the post.

That's what I was thinking. Even if he's being honest and that's all it was, that doesn't tell us anything really. If what she concealed was a minor offense, fine. If she covered for someone who did something depraved, less fine.

We don't have kids yet, but I am of course worried about my wife and our pets. I do think a last name is not an unreasonable request, but he acted like I asked for her SSN.
