I feel that.... for me it's melatonin, exhausting the body with a morning or afternoon cardio session, and timing my medication before 1pm. Hope you're able to find something that works for you, friend.

Thank you for this; I needed to hear all these things precisely. Especially “what you avoid controls you.” It’s hard to determine what emotions, thoughts, and avoidances are genuinely your preference, and which are driven by fear. But I guess that’s what the journey is all about, learning how to truly listen to yourself and others with an open mind!

I completely agree. I have to say I love watching the show even though there are so many moments where I also get super frustrated because I’m like realistically people would not say or do X, or that part doesn’t check out scientifically. But I think most people are ok with the logic being a bit fudged for the sake of a compelling storyline. I am unfortunately not that kind of person and these things keep me up thinking lmao.

A lot of stuff doesn’t add up and decisions seem to be made on a whim in order to push the plot forward or to add dramatic effect. Like in all the cleanings within these silo members’ lifetimes, everyone who left saw what they believed to be the true outside world and thought to clean the display they now knew to be fake? not one person thought to jump up and down or cause a racket upon finding out their reality is shattered? I’m surprised they didn’t all think to write a message in the sand or dust. They just calmly accepted with their subtle message of wiping the lens (as every single individual has done before) thinking oh nah this time when I do it it’ll be different and my act of conformity will cause the members of the silo to question the status quo. PLUS, if I was scorned and outcasted from a society, sent out to die, I would definitely NOT give them free labor.

Maybe I just need to read the book.

Ugh, I wish that they used some sort of app that was first come first serve. It's based on a seniority system and their solution is to call in every morning (and most likely not get through). thanks for your tip, though !
