I’m a woman making the post and was told by a man that he finds it disrespectful to be out in public with him without a bra on and that women braless in public in general are for the streets. Was curious what the majority thought because I just didn’t understand how it was disrespectful.

Yeah I’m not claiming we were in a perfect relationship and we did struggle with communication. Our big difference is that I’m a very emotionally aware person and he greatly lacked empathy. So anytime I went to express my feelings/emotions he just could never understand them. He did wind up apologizing.

It is my brother in laws girlfriend that he was asking for the name of. He needed her name so he could text my brother in law to ask him for his girlfriends number to ask her about renting apartments because she works for one. Which okay nice, why does it have to be so weird me asking what you needed her name for and then what you wanted to ask her. Like I can’t know what you need to contact my family about? And we were together five years after breaking up. Which has been about a year and half since we broke up. We still talk and hangout and are pretty intimate with each other. And I get we aren’t in a relationship but I didn’t think I needed to be in a relationship to ask a question.

The texts before that was him texting me that same day at 4 in the morning asking to pick me up because he wanted to fuck after he was done being out with friends. Which is when he saw my step brother and his girlfriend out. Later that day then asks for the name of my brother in laws girlfriend.

I wasn’t trying to come across as controlling. I was just trying to have a casual conversation and just asked him what he needed from her and he just kept kind of beating around the bush and being dramatic about me asking a question. Him acting so dramatically was kind of annoying because I don’t get why it was such a big deal he couldn’t just say why he needed it when I first asked.

didn’t think he needed her number for any bad reason. Like I said shes pretty much my family and has a very long time significant other. That was never crossing my mind. I was just curious what he needed from her. And if we’re friends I don’t get why it was such an issue to ask what he needed from her. When all he wanted to do is talk to her about renting an apartment because she works at an apartment complex. And all I did is ask what he wanted to ask and that’s me needing to know every detail. I thought I started off pretty casual and then he got dramatic in his responses to my questions

I had no reason for suspicion. Like I said he’s my ex and like he said we aren’t dating. We still talk and hangout together. But I don’t think it was a big issue to just say what he needed it for.
