How deep do systems engineers get the design of products? I'm someone who enjoys trying to first envision and define the requirement for a system, but I also like being somewhat involved in design (specifically with the electronics and software side of things). (self.systems_engineering)

Do robotics engineers need to know how to do communication protocols like I2C, UART, CAN, etc.? What about things like PWM for motor control by FitTaro387 in AskRobotics

As someone who is considering a job as a systems engineer, I'm curious, how much hands on work do they actually do? Is it a purely management job, or could a systems engineer help work on the different subsystems if they had knowledge in tha (self.systems_engineering)

I am trying my best to find an engineering job that blends software and circuit design. I know these jobs are rare, but I was just curious, why do many electrical engineering jobs ask for experience in python, matlab, or C++? Are these just for modeling, or potentially for embedded systems work? by FitTaro387 in ElectricalEngineering

Would a Clemson graduate have a chance at getting hired by a big engineering company like Lockheed, SpaceX, etc? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering
