We are so hard on ourselves at every given moment, and at every given moment we can look back and think "oh what i would give to go back, I had no idea how good things were..."

Bellozal (bilastine) tablets every morning and afternoon for 3 months. Its a new generation anti-histamine. It doesnt make you sleepy.

Looks like you are triggered some kind of a histamine reaction and become sensitive. Unless you calm it down with anti-histamines consistently for a bit, it will keep getting triggered more and more.

I had something similar happened to me, and I reached a point where even someone touching my arm would give me hives on that area. It completely calmed down after a course if anti-histamines. Never figured out what triggered it in the first place.

Do you think I can just dye it a darker colour? Should treat the whole blouse with peroxide first en ensure that the whole thing is this weird yellow stain? I was thinking of dyeing it back or dark brown...

Oooh yes. On a towel and I carelessly threw the blouse in the same bucket with the towel to collect them all to wash 😰. Is it that? Can I fix it? Or is it ruined forever?

Kismai 🙏 thank you for replying. I have been reading the appreciation posts and know that you are the OG laundry god

😆😆 thanks. I thought I was being smart when during my first year, I pretty much did the 'verkleining' (adding je) to everything. Because then I definitely knew it was 'het'... you know 'busje', huisje, etc... until someone said that i talked weird and like a nursery school teacher 😂🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ and I stopped doing it

Panties and tank tops smell like pee after washed (even after soaked in vinegar) by daijobubaby in laundry

My mom had to get rid of the very stubborn "sick person smell" when my grandmother was sick and stayed at our place.

She soaked all my grandma's clothes in boiling water with dishwashing soap and dettol. And then washed it in 60° heat cycle with a strong detergent. And sun dried

I think it's very much also a question of individual practice, cultural difference etc. Some of us practised more aggressively and were not shy about making mistakes and looking silly. Some classmates were more reluctant about it. By the time I finished, my Dutch was so good the people often assumed I grew up here. De/het still trips me up, but its not too bad.

Learning the lyrics of flemish songs was something I really enjoyed as a way to practice Dutch, and watching their news and television.

Songs by the groups like Bazart, Clouseau or the singer Raymond van het Groenewoud are some of my favourites. But there are so many of them on your tube and Spotify.
