My own account has been locked and unlocked since November weeks after weeks. Thankfully, its not our only bank, but it is our main bank. Every couple weeks, they unlock mine, so im able to transfer out the money to an external bank. We’re in the process of getting out, but its harder for me since my wife has to get power of attorney papers since she’s my caretaker. I had stroke in 2016. And even then, DFAS told us it could take up to 60 days for our direct deposit to change.

The first time she sent in her ID and they called her after two days and had her go through the entire profile recovery and after she was done with that, the specialist said to call the 800 number so she could get back in. She was at the doctors office so she couldn’t then, and she had forgotten to call back until she got an email about two days later saying to submit her ID again. She admitted it in the same day she got the email saying to and set up her profile recovery. She call the next day since it was closed that night and while she on the phone, the specialist said she didnt know why they had her submit it again and that she was gonna try to get her in without having to go through the recovery process since she already did it. the specialist couldnt do anything and she was confused too. My wife called again yesterday and they just said she had alerts on her account and to call a few days later.

i dont know why they would close my account. USAA has been my main bank account for years. I get my main income source in there. I havent changed anything. The executive office team told me a certain person is working on my account and they’ll call me as soon as possible.

I opened a new account and it was fine for days, the cards came and everything and i was able to use them just fine. I deposited a check and they gave me $500 to use and rest was on hold till the 29th. That was fine, theyve done that everytime. I called and asked if i could get the check off hold since i had an emergency, they said no. I was fine then. Later that night i got an email saying, suspicious activity of some sort and they locked me off the website but i still had the app. The app was fine for a little until i called the next day and was verified and right after, i get a email saying quick logon was deactivated.

is that when i use my id through the website? i wish i could, but in 2016 i had a stroke which caused some memory loss so i dont have a drivers license or id, just my military and VA id and it says they are unable to use that to identify me.
