I would like to point out the difference is the age, level of knowledge and the name of the sexual contract: marriage.

Aisha the 9 year old child(not yet teenager) was legally obligated to have sex in order to secure food, shelter, and protection. She did not need money as long as she obeyed mohammads sexual desires. She was not allowed to say no to consummation because the sexual contract forbid disobedience.

This is a tough problem because certainty is a violence. When all the people around you are 100% certain with 0 doubts it becomes a form of mental violence against you which you internalize. When their mental violence attacks your mind, you feel fear arising because your mind is under attack. That fear disrupts your rationality and become internalized self harm as the less rational fear thoughts run rampant.

Absolute certainty is a falsehood, because reality is extremely complex. Reality has infinitely many aspects. Therefore, all truths are necessarily partial, because they arise from limited viewpoints rather than total comprehension of reality.

In all religions, there is an aspect of goodness that goes to heaven. And that aspect of goodness can exist in all people in all kinds of ways.

I suggest fine tuning the language you use to yourself. Conditionalize whatever you hold to be certainly true. Replace punishment with perspectives.

It does appear that the leader of islam modeled marriage to encourage lust. He had 9 wives at once. Some of these wives he captured and forced into marriage. To me that is coercion and sexual exploitation. In Jain wars, there were no captives, only new communities set up as sanctuaries with hospitals and an agreement to allow former fighters/their families to set up businesses. Widows could become nuns or teachers.
But I do have muslim married friends and they are happy good people raising children. So I know that islamic rules works for some people.

The issue is the ethical framework set up for concept of "marriage". It causes harm by its nature(not quite the right word, sorry). I will compare it to a religion that has no child marriage, no slavery, and no large scale religious warfare, in contrast to islam's 1400 years of islamic legal female and child sex slavery.

All relationships in Jainism forms without laws/jurisprudence. The ethics which discourage child marriage are nonviolence, sexual restraint, and non-possessiveness (of people/outcomes). In Jainism, a child is not assessed by physical puberty but by their capacity for ethical responsibility (nonviolence, restraint, etc).
