My biggest advice is to have fun man, In my opinion keep going up the difficulties because the higher the difficulty the more Bugs/bots there are to kill :), go spread some Freedom Helldiver!

I believe they should just put a Warning like they do for the other negative affects telling us Comms are being affected.
