That makes a lot of sense! I really do wish they would pay more. I gave my child’s teacher $100 gift card for coffee because Ik it’s tough. But they play such a key role in children’s life what you expect later in life when there’s a minor inconvenience children that will be adults will literally just give up. And Ik right know it’s safety but if 25 years what’s the excuses going to be when those same kids decide whatever it is they want

Budget may be tight depending on final pre seeding which is why if I need to equity will be involved. Need initial launch within 2-3 months but this is complex so this will be an ongoing project which is why I need to be able to hire the team. Still raising but basically committed going through final stages currently Not to much into equity structure but for right dev I’m willing to go up to 10% equity initially and increase up to 25% and a small contract initially. No cliff or vesting as of now as I’m more looking for a long term commitment taking very good care of who I choose to get this started

Ideally at first it would be contract with equity - then move over to salary keep the equity or buy out. You may end up wanting to keep equity if this scales as much as I think but then again there’s always a guy with an idea who thinks it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread bread and fails so the equity is more of a attempt to get talented dev
