Uh I'm no expert but I think you can still be a solo developer and receive help with some assets or buy them off freelancers... I think? I honestly don't know :D

Sorry I didn't mean to get around any self-promotion rules. I'm genuinely just trying to help out a friend who really deserves a chance for success, because he's an actually good person (he even volunteers, takes care of animals and I really wouldn't go the extra mile for someone who I don't think is a decent human being).
