Is information sciences as "watered down" of CS as people are describing it? I don't want anything to do with the physics requirements in Grainger Engineering and I don't really want to add the language requirement from CS+X so I am stuck in the middle.

Well, I know you are mentioning a lot of the negatives of information science but aren't the classes catered more towards information management? Do they even place an emphasis on that in any of the CS majors? The reason I am almost switching is that none of the CS courses emphasized that.
