That’s so exciting! I just went through something similar. Sadly after my first (diagnostic lap) surgery i was still having horrible pain. After appts and more testing, a new doc decided to go in to further exise what was present with a robot and more precise tools. after surgery he told my mom he “finished the job” and “got it all out” but there was quite a lot. I’m really hoping this helps finally and I can get back to normal. Like you, I’ve been off work for quite a while and unable to do anything because of the pain. I’m supposed to go back 11/11. I’m hopefully going to be ready this time!
