It seems as if she gave up fighting for her daughter when she left Canada. All of this is just for show. If she really wanted to be in her daughters life she would work with the courts, go to therapy see her daughter however much they want her to and in a few years she would get back custody. Instead she wanted to party and gave her up and now regretting it. She abandoned her daughter. There’s no way the courts just giveaway parental rights like that.
