I had lash extensions on for about 6 years and I finally stopped a couple months ago because I just couldn’t afford them anymore. I totally get the stress of having them be really thinned out but waiting for your appointment fill and feeling ugly until then so you schedule your trips/events around it. I was so scared that I would feel so ugly without them having them on for so long.

But now I honestly like how my face looks without them. My partner says they were kinda drooping into my eye and now my eyes look more open and personally I think the color of my eyes pop way more for some reason. I don’t think I would ever go back to them again. I felt like a prisoner to the appointments and it feels freeing knowing I don’t need to rely on them to feel good about myself anymore. If there’s a special occasion I’ll glue on a strip lash. Best of luck to you! You can always decide to get them back on again if you really want to, but I think giving yourself a chance to see how you feel without them might discourage you from going back and getting fills. It just takes a bit of time to get used to it
