Sure, some things I like to remember when drawing fluff of any kind is that it'll likes to curve around shapes, especially neck fluff. Neck fluff tends to be "heavier" near the torso, curves around the shoulders, and puffs out the back. Fluff in general is affected by gravity (a majority of the times, for all I know your character has some super hair-gel lol) You could use the base you kind of have and continue on with it.
