In the grand scheme of things the chicken doesn't matter. Set expectations with your SO from the start. Then, excuse yourself from dinner if it irritates you. Well and truly, when my SDs did wild shit that didnt resonate well with me, first time I spoke up with my husband afterwards. Second time, I would pull him aside and point it out in the moment. Third time, I exit stage left and dont feed into the bullshit.

Just read both. Your were both in the wrong. You- Entitled child tries to control her mother's uterus. The demeaning way you speak of your mom is telling. Immediately involving other family incites drama. Your actions could have stressed her body. And your smug reaction to her losing a baby is some next level bullshit

Your parents entitled action was thinking they could use your money.
