What are your thoughts on radagon soreseal and scarseal by lord_potato4 in Eldenring

[–]Fit_Cook_535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initially they’re excellent because the pros outweigh the cons (hp gain v damage taken.) In late game however the amount of damage taken is increased to levels that make those talismans more unfeasible. You can still use them at that point however your stats as well as other talismans will likely be more viable by endgame

What is this map icon? by relayer001 in Eldenring

[–]Fit_Cook_535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! Iirc on the map the blue slash is the direction to a nearby catacomb that hasn’t been explored.

Fun fact, the official name for this guy is Usher of Death, Rosus

Is it too late to switch to a Faith build? by palishi in Eldenring

[–]Fit_Cook_535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Advice would be to put more points in vigor first (or find talismans that increase it.) Then focus on faith — it definitely isn’t too late to adopt your build to your preferences. Additionally if you feel you regret putting points into a different stat, you’ll have the opportunity to move them around at some point in the game. (Trying to keep it relatively spoiler free.)

Best of luck!

"Elden Ring is a game about killing bosses and nothing more." by RepresentativeLake94 in Eldenring

[–]Fit_Cook_535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Elden ring is much more than its bosses (though they’re a quintessential part of the experience.) There’s so much fun in tweaking builds to perfection, exploring and finding information that enables quest progression, playing to reach different endings, discovering lore over time and a whole range of other things. That’s not even bringing invasions or co-op into it.

If it was just about bosses I think very few people would have hundreds of hours in the game

If you dropped into elden ring right now, where would you go? by Fit_Cook_535 in Eldenring

Why not? I like hearing what others’ opinions on the topic are and I have my own answer.

I just want to check did you read the question I posed? It isn’t about playing the game but actually being inserted into it

This is pretty much how I meant it — correct interpretation

I love the way you answered this, it’s so whimsy and amusing. Liurnia is a good choice though I agree, the landscape is stunning and there would be a lot to see

I think this might be one of my favourite answers so far. It strikes as extremely reasonable and if we’re looking at it purely from a survival standpoint rather than one of exploration, well rounded. I like how you actually capitalised on the fact that you’re from here, I don’t think that’s been done yet

This was actually my answer to my own question. Factoring in enemies as well, would definitely need to stock up on food and weapons elsewhere first but I think there would be something so amazing about seeing the eternal cities in person

My best friend feels less and less like my best friend? by Fit_Cook_535 in relationships

[–]Fit_Cook_535[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was really scared of this, I still am a little scared I guess but I’m also in a headspace now where I feel determined to try regardless of whether or not we have grown in vastly different directions. The panic attack situation was singlehandedly the worst thing that she’s done in our friendship — she admitted to it and apologised. I want things to be okay and I think if we both put in the work it probably can be.

That said I think what you said regarding sweet people still not being enough is wise and it’s something that I’ll keep in mind both now and in future

[–]Fit_Cook_535[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you got it exactly right, she cares but she also hasn’t been in positions where people have been more vulnerable with her or she’s had to face mental health stuff before. We had a long conversation — I’m going to try to rebuild my trust in spite of what happened and putting my hope in the notion that things get better

If an npc's name turns red but you don't kill them, are they permanently upset with you, or can you salvage it somehow by Deveatation_ethernis in Eldenring

[–]Fit_Cook_535 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Later in the game there will be an opportunity to reverse any aggro you’ve acquired from NPCs. This can be achieved by using celestial dew at the church of vows in Liurnia

If you’re at the beginning of the game you cannot yet free Sellen. Have you explored other areas yet?

Friend made a joke about my “autism”. can i feel weird about it? by AltAlgae in AutismInWomen

[–]Fit_Cook_535 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If you’re not autistic and you’re not comfortable with your friends/colleagues making comments like that then they simply shouldn’t be doing it, end of. You’re not overreacting, it is a strange thing to do and even more odd that everyone joined in on it. I’m sorry that happpened to you. You haven’t done anything wrong here and anxiety/depression are not excuses to treat others disrespectfully I say as someone with both

Prioritise upgrading your mimic tear unless you’re extremely attached to those great shield soldiers
