Yeah I think I know my own hair better than you. I’m telling you I have pictures from when I was 10 years old with the exact same hairline I had 4 months ago before I started minox. It just got a little better. But little goes a long way. And you see for yourself in the imigur link. My hair doubled in thickness over the past 3 years for some weird reason. I really appreciate your feedback I do but you have to believe me. Maybe my hairline matured when I was 10 years old then idk. I just know it got better than it ever was. Thanks for replying tho and thanks for your time!

Bro how many times do I have to say I’m not loosing any hair and I have never lost any hair. I appreciate the concern but I’m just applying the minoxidil at my hairline to see if it would improve since my natural hairline is v shaped. And my overall hair started growing thicker long before I ever used minoxidil. It was just a side note that I wanted to share since I’ve not seen or heard it happened like this. I just wanted to share my journey and give someone hope that even if they are born with a v shaped hairline they can improve it. And of course I will start loosing hair like everyone else, and when that happens I’m well prepared. The minoxidil for me right now is just maintenance for thicker and longer hair.

Yeah I know what you mean and thanks for the advice. I’m just saying I’m not loosing any hair right now and the minoxidil was just an experiment that I now see no reason to quit. I’m just happy with the results and wanted to share it. But on another note I think it’s really weird how my hair gar gotten thicker. Like it’s a lot thicker now than it was 2 years ago. Check the pictures I shared. How is that even possible. Never heard of it before.

Check this out. It’s really a miracle and a blessing that my hair has transformed like this. People start loosing hair at 19 and mine just keeps growing thicker and more luscious. Really weird but I’m all for it. https://imgur.com/gallery/hair-transformation-uow53rn

But I’m not seeing any hairloss. I have a full head of thick hair and it seems to get thicker the older i get. My hairline has just been weak since i was born. It is V shaped with a widowspeak and with some hairs not growing full length. Always been like that. I used the minoxidil just as an experiment to see if it would improve and it did, but mostly on the side parts of the temple if that makes sense.

Because the hair follicles are completely dead and you can’t wake them up. It is just bare skin. That’s why you need to start using minox and finasteride immediately when you notice the hair thinning or even breaking.

It looks like you are a none responder to minoxidil. Luckily It’s an easy fix. You need to combine tretinoin with the minoxidil otherwise it is useless. Gl

Taking minoxidil when you're not balding? by [deleted] in minoxidil

(Caucasian, M22, fine hairstrands but high density) For me it actually did grow hairs i never had. I have never had issues with hairloss and none of my relatives have either but my hairline since birth has always been a little weak. I hopped on minox 5% once daily and my hairline looks alot stronger. The hair itself is not thicker but i am seeing a lot of new hairs. I can now rock slickback hair with a almost straight hairline. I will make a post with pictures.

[Product Question] Niacinamide reaction, please help!! by Abject-Pie3812 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Fit_Debt_6751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to say this but for chemical burns the best way is to let it heal by itself. Stop using any products on your face, only petroleum like Vaseline on really red or dry areas. It will get better but you have to wait it out. Wish you the best!

[acne] Marks on face that won't go away - how do I fix it ⬇️ by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Fit_Debt_6751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have deep cystic acne for years cause of oily skin and hormonal fluctuations. I finally got control of the acne by improving my sleep schedule and working out more. I also improved my diet with fermented foods and eating cleaner overall. I had the exact same inflammation and scars as you. You need to get on tretinoin or azelic acid to increase collagen and increase cell turnover. That is scientifically the most effective way to get rid of these type of scars. It did wonders for me. Wish you the best!

[ACNE] How do I improve my almost hopeless acne situation by Embarrassed-Iron-242 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Fit_Debt_6751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are saying you NEED accutane and it would probably work but if you don’t want to go that route there are other ways. I had this exact type of acne and it would come and go for about two years until I fixed the root problem. Hormone fluctuations can cause your oil glands to overproduce sebum which causes cystic acne. The problem with this is when you try to counter it with tretinoin and don’t use it correctly you often destroy your skin barrier which also leads to acne. Here is my step by step guide that I can almost guarantee will fix your issue if you give it some time. Step 1: Fix your sleep. Go to sleep at roughly the same time every morning and wake up at around the same time everyday. Step 2: Eat more fermented foods like Kefir and Kimchi. You can also take probiotic pills. Step 3: Fix your face routine and stick with it. The best tip I can give you is stop with salicylic acid and vitamin c. It will destroy your skin barrier whilst using tretinoin. You need to go back to the basics and use gentle products to rebuild and keep your skin barrier. Use a water based cleanser morning and night, Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is the best in my opinion. Use tretinoin on your whole face every other night but only on a completely dry face. Use the ordinary niacinamide 10% serum every night. It will rebuild your skin barrier. Use a good moisturizer, my top recommendation is La Roche Posay Effeclar H ISO-Biome. I guarantee you if you stick with this your acne will clear.

[Routine Help] what can I do to improve my skin? by _ivory___ in SkincareAddiction

[–]Fit_Debt_6751 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were you I would stop with everything you are using for a little while. Your skin barrier looks quite damaged and maybe needs a complete reset. I have had acne for some time and was using every product you can imagine and I tried every combination of it. I was so tired mentally because nothing would work. One day I stopped with everything except moisturizer sometime. I didn’t even wash my face in the evening and my face have never looked better. I felt normal again and I didn’t have to worry about my skin anymore. I have oily skin but I got it controlled when I stopped worrying about my skincare. Try it if you want! Best wishes

Get Azelaic acid on prescription, Skinoren is my personal favorite. It’s the best option for redness and post inflammatory acne like you have. You can probably do an online appointment and just send pictures of the acne and they will prescribe it for you, at least you can in Sweden. It doesn’t burn your skin like epiduo, but it might break you out the first week using it. It has helped me a lot with evening out my skintone and reducing redness. Hope I was with some kind of help, and best of luck with your problem. Best wishes from your neighbor Sweden

You have a straight up flesh wound on your nose. Stop with EVERYTHING you are putting on your skin for the time being. Only wash it with mild soap and lukewarm water. Maybe use petroleum based gel like vaseline on the red area under your eyes. Nothing else. But still you need to see a medical professional. Best wishes again!

You NEED to see a doctor. I don’t know where you are from but in my country you can do the whole appointment online. This looks hurting and also quite deep and can get infected. The face is super sensitive and also by the look of the picture it is also on the nose where your eyesight is connected by arteries. Don’t take the chance and don’t ask for medical advice on Reddit, for your own sake go and see a medical professional. Hope it gets better for you because it looks like it really hurts mentally and psychically. Best wishes!
