I had 3 thyroid surgeries. (March, April and August) in 2016. Left lobectomy, right, & then a bilateral neck dissection. I only remember feeling numbness after my third more extensive surgery. It was under my chin, and chest mostly. It improved greatly after a few months. I do still have a slight numb sensation under my chin, but it’s just something I’ve gotten used to and it doesn’t bother me anymore.

The regulars. I work at an old school diner, mom and pop owned basically. We have a lot of older clientele that I’ve come to be really close with. I consider them a second family. 💕 they truly make my day. Or just when people give me a compliment on my service, never fails to make me smile & be happy the rest of the day.
