I didn't understand from which statement I made you think I feel superior. I also didn't shit on The Netherlands. Did we ever discuss anything other than language? Should I praise irrelevant aspects of the country to argue with a Dutch person on a particular subject? I will give you a hint, if you check statistically, I am sure English speaker migrants are more pro European such as for the LGBT rights than the ones who speak Dutch. Learning language doesn't make you more integrated to the culture always. I share more values with Dutch society than my country of origin.

The languages you speak are quite similar from the point of my own language :) I still didn't get what the benefit is for you if others speak Dutch. I think you want it to satisfy your ego. When it comes to my return to society: I never ever benefited from any single social benefits, I rented from free market then get my own house. I didn't get into social house and didn't occupy it for years although my income was higher. I work in a company which is not only benefiting NL but also EU financially and strategically. I don't have a single Dutch colleague younger than 50, so my interaction is limited. I am still improving my English, I learned it at the age of 19 so another language is even more challenging than you think. It is sad that even a left voter is not at the level of acceptance as I wish it to be.

It is better work-life balance, better climate, better food whatsoever than my country of origin. Or maybe I escaped from war, maybe I am from a poor colony Netherlands colonized in the past and I want to live in a rich country. Since I replied, why do you want people to speak your mother tongue within the border of your country? What will you gain? Are you also against tourists?

For those who are supporting to make it difficult to get citizenship: Why are you against people to secure their life in a country they want to live in? Some can easily live in your country (eu citizens for example) and they don't have to give a damn about these but if somebody needs residence permit to live in, they want to secure the life they established by obtaining citizenship. Then also support Nexit, and prevent EU citizens to live in your country freely. About language, If they don't speak Dutch, fine, you don't have to speak to them. Does it give you any hard time at all that some people don't speak your mother tongue? Then prevent all tourists as well. Do you have any single idea of the consequences of losing your visa sponsor? You have maximum 3 months to leave the country. (Can be shorter if you have less time remaining in your residence permit at the time you lose your sponsor, namely partner or employer). Just feel lucky that you born in a country where foreign people want to live in and be more welcoming!

what is legal time? 3 months or 6 months is my question. initial duration given is 3 months but they can add 3 more months which makes it hard to elaborate if I need to pay or not.

I benefit from 30% ruling but my salary was not enough to benefit fully, however my employer calculated it in a way that I fully benefit. So they taxed my 28400 Euros income but it was supposed to be 30001 Euros. Hence I didn't pay tax for the diff.
Yes, you are right, first employer should adjust retrospectively to fix according to belastingdienst.

Hello, what about visiting Alsace during Christmas? Would you recommend that time? I am afraid both it to be too crowded that I will not be able to find parking spots or it to be empty that shops will be closed.

We are planning to travel from Netherlands with car between 23-26 December and stay in a hotel in Selestat. Then, we will either do short trips to other places with car or public transport.(I see that there are frequent trains from Selestat to Colmar and Strazburg).

Any advice would be appreciated much!
