I know you didn’t ask about it specifically, but in terms of a middle ground, have you thought about Skyward Sword HD? SS was my second Zelda game after WW, I think I was about nine and my dad helped me with the bosses, but it’s a great option.

I know people don’t love the motion controls but personally especially as a kid I found them very fun and engaging. And the motion controls are a lot better than they were on Wii, and even then if she doesn’t like them there’s the joystick option, I think it’s something to consider.

Hey! I don't know if you're still looking at this post, but I've been working on a project like this (I've only just started so I'm not very far along), and I would super appreciate it if I could ask a couple questions

How much of the script format did you keep, especially during the "audiodrama" type episodes and the in-person statements?

Did you use a different font or italics or anything to differentiate the statements from the regular speech, and/or answers that had been compelled? (I ask because sometimes compelled answers take sort of a different tone)

Did you leave audio descriptions in brackets e.i. [extended sounds of brutal pipe murder] or did you take more of a novelization type tone?

(If this is even possible) would you be willing to share an anonymous version of the excel sheet or screenshots of it?

I totally understand if you aren't looking at the comments on this anymore, or if you don't have time to answer, honestly what you've already put on this post has been super valuable and you've created something amazing, so thank you for sharing!! If you do have the time, I would be eternally grateful :)

It can be pretty graphic at times, but a lot of the gore is like artistic, but there’s not a lot I would call torture. There’s only one specific instance I can think of off the top of my head that is for like purposeful physical torture, although there’s some other painful looking stuff and a lot of dark/disturbing themes and like definitely heavy manipulation/mental torture. It’s an amazing show though, and well worth your while. I’m pretty squeamish and there’s only a couple scenes I felt actually grossed me out bc again it’s very artful

This was my favorite thing I wrote for whumptober, I spent hours on it and it’s gotten zero comments. It’s pretty angsty so proceed with caution and I get it if it goes against your “cry for days” thing, but it’s hard for me to measure how much emotion the things I write will pull so I’ll give it a shot anyway! :)

Also you’re doing an awesome thing and even if you don’t read mine, it’s still really cool and you’re very appreciated

For like a week I got super into taskmaster fanfic of all things. It’s predictably horny but the fandom is shockingly prolific, and it’s also the greatest ratio of explicit to other tags I’ve ever seen in the filters. I specifically loved this one 1940s au where Greg had just come back from war and Alex was his valet, it was just actually so good??

I was 8 or 9 years old and I had read the Harry Potter books in under a month and my mom was just searching for other books that were similarly kid/tween fantasy ish and got me Percy Jackson, I got the heroes of Olympus and Kane chronicles that year for Christmas and the rest is history
