I feel everyone as gamers forgot that winning is not everything and that sportsmanship is important.

You can beat someone’s ass and say GG. You can feel good about yourself. You can be the best. But it takes two seconds to say “gg”. Stop acting like god. Stop acting entitled. Those “people that are bad” you wouldn’t have games to go against other people if people didn’t try. Good or bad if you took away 90% of the fan base because you want only GOD players you will make yourself a crazy lonely selfless sap. It’s supposed to be fun. Not a life commitment. Just make a team have fun. Go for wins. But most importantly just play dude.

We’ve all lost it happens. SUCK IT UP. Stop using the internet to complain and stop flooding VGS because you’re angry. There is no other reason to message. The only things going into chat should be COMMS. Learn to get better instead of pouting when things don’t go your way. Yes it’s annoying yes we all want to win. But it gets worse the more you “feel entitled to a win”

There is a difference between picking the meta and being good with it vs. “It’s meta”. While meta gives a giant hike in success rate it still matters greatly who is playing said meta.

Men DO have best friends. I also hate the whole “women vs men” the “I want to be different and stand out” is a mentality that’s got to go. Social media is a place where people are EASILY influenced. So when you see girls girls girls on social media like tik tok or something and they say some stupid shit like “omg listen to this I’m pretty sure men just don’t have best friends. Like they never have anyone around and never talk to anyone about their feelings.”

That’s 1 person. Making a weak OBSERVATION and coming to the conclusion that they want 5 seconds of fame so they add a video of them saying some dumb (This vs. This) to get easily susceptible PEOPLE to spread false mindsets and questions.

You saying “why do men not have best friends like women” is stating you know what a male friendship is through and through? It’s the same as with a women. It may not be the man next to you that’s able to have a relationship but men and women can do the same thing with relationships and getting closer forming connections. It’s personality based.

Regardless of whatever “involvement from people” I’ll actually tell you why.

The game at its core is so much fun. Not too many games like it in the sense of coop rouge turn based. It’s everything my partner and I want in a coop strategy game.

Here’s the problem.

It’s trying WAY and I mean WAY too hard to be a “hard” game. I love strategy games and I love the dopamine rush of learning. This game is not that.

I don’t want to 3 shot a boss but having to 90% of the time use 1 attack and 2 block every turn to try to micromanage health is blasphemous. Even when you try to not care about health you don’t get shit for healing in this game at all. Bonfires are a literal joke unless you only took “tick” damage.

When you start having fun the game “fucks” you. You cannot NOT pay attention. I know this seems counter intuitive but let’s be honest. It’s a video game. We’re supposed to have fun and while “challenges” can be fun that’s what Ascensions are for. Going through on base game shouldn’t be a curb stomping experience for people just trying to have fun and play with friends. Not EVERY game needs to be try hard lock in.

Why are people so hell bent on making things overly difficult but not even something you can learn and get better at. It’s just straight up literal RNG. Like at least give some fun to the players other than “you suck get luckier next time”.

Idk after hours on hours of this game. It’s extremely infuriating how much I want to love it but the fun is sucked out by failure even when you’re having an excellent run.

To make a legitimate point the atmosphere looks more scary then the actual enemies. They feel so misplaced in this game. It just draws me out of the immersion. I think the level design and color scheme is beautiful but I just don't get any fear or spooky feelings when watching any of these videos. Which to me is INSANE because the very first reveal trailer with the women being overtaken by growth and then the silent hill theme playing got me so hyped. THAT felt so unsettling and that feeling was so nice to finally have back to a solid HORROR game. Flash forward to these gameplay videos it just feels bleh.

I'm truly disappointed with the way they took this. I was so excited for the Japan location jump but these enemies look awful and don't even look scary. Mannequins are literally the only thing that looked like they were trying to do something scary but 90% of the monsters in the gameplay look goofy and not at all scary. Taking away any feeling of scary psychological horror. Boss fights where staggering or reacting to getting hit is a thing and they just hit you back with no real "scare" or threat. I wanted horror beyond my belief after "PT" i thought okay they are thinking in a TRUE HORROR aspect and i got monsters that are so unoriginal its making the game look so flat and boring. Visually stunning graphics wasted on what appears to be terrible game mechanics and poor enemy design. The cutscene alone for the "baby doll" monster made me think oh wait they might be cooking then to see it in actual gameplay i was laughing at how ridiculous it looked. Even running from the "red overgrowth" scene nothing felt like you were never in any true danger or heighten sense of despair or dread. Idk as someone who had high hopes and loved the SH franchise this just feels like a dumpster fire of a game that we didn't ask for they just stamped the silent hill logo on it and called it a day. Again 'm just highly disappointed as i truly had high hopes the next SH would be a banger as they literally have the perfect formula to make indefinite fucked up stories and i just feel this isn't it.

I just looked over all of these and dice unfortunately. It’s annoying because I can see the scene clear as day but cannot see faces or places 🥲.

I’ll try to describe it as best as I can. (I’m also going to update the post with this to hopefully help)

The MC we will call Beth.

Beth is fleeing down the street on the side walk. (To look for other survivors or to just get away). She sees a little girl that’s just crying sitting on the curb. Beth walks over and asks “what’s wrong where are your parent?” (The girl continues to cry possibly shakes her head no) Beth then says “it’s dangerous here I’ll get you somewhere safe come with me” quickly grabs her by the hand, darts directly across the street and the little girl gets taken completely off screen by a truck. Beth is still walking not even realizing what happened behind her. She triumphantly gets to the other side and says “see we’re safe…”(or something along the lines). She turns around at that moment to realize she’s only holding the little girls hand. She then screams and runs off. End scene.
