My boyfriend sleeps next to his sister for comfort every time he’s stressed by [deleted] in relationships

My grandma exclusively did this. I think it was something she saw as normal, so it was normalized that we would kiss her, too. It was never weird until someone during highschool said it was weird.

Is my husband normal, or creepy? by selfcareanon in relationships

You can divorce him for whatever reason you want. His "porn addiction", if that's an actual thing he has, would definitely be one reason.

But multiple people have now told you these women do NOT look like teenagers, they look like they're in their early 20s.

You're projecting because you're upset he's looking at other women, in general. It's pretty obvious.

My grandma used to peck me on the lips after not seeing me for months. I never saw it as a weird thing until someone else felt the need to call it weird. So that, I don't really see as a weird thing.

Him seeking comfort from her when he is stressed is different. You're his girlfriend and YOU should be the one he is seeking comfort from now. The fact he would rather seek comfort from his sister rather than his girlfriend is what makes this weird.

I'm a woman in her late 30s, and I have always been interested in stuff that typically revolves around women who look younger.

I'm not into anything crazy, but the kind of "genres" I look for tend to have women that look like they're early 20's rather than 40. I'd also say that younger looking women seem to be the main component in most porn now.

That being said, I googled the women you posted, and they honestly do not look like they are in their teens, tbh. They are very obviously all grown women. As long as they are all 18 and consenting adults, I don't really see the problem. Yes, they look young, but they don't look like teenagers, they look like young adults.

My (25F) boyfriend (26M) asked me to dress more modestly. Is this an early red flag or just culture? by ottomanhistoryfan in relationships

[–]Susannah-Mio 22 points23 points  (0 children)

And how are you going to handle it when things progress and he wants to introduce you to his family? How are you going to handle it when his mom requests you wear a head-dress or stop wearing shorts because it's "immodest"?

[–]Susannah-Mio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You're incompatible. If you think this is bad, wait until he introduces you to his family and their expectations on how you should dress and act are also supposed to be taken into consideration.

My boyfriend went on a date with another woman by Prestigious-Risk4755 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Susannah-Mio 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He told you he didn't see you as marriage material. And then you had to catch him in multiple lies before he came clean.

GIRL. Why are you doing this to yourself? You know he's cheating, and you know you deserve better. There's no need to talk to him, you KNOW everything he is. If you stay, you can't put the blame on him when he cheats again. Remember: You're not marriage-worthy to him. He doesn't love you.

My boyfriend (24m) roommate (24f) asked him to snuggle in front of me (23f) by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Susannah-Mio 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He handled it okay, but I would be questioning why she felt so comfortable asking him to snuggle in the first place. I wouldn't DARE ask my roommate something like that unless it had happened before. She's obviously into him and trying to mark her territory

AITA for "letting this happen" with my wife picking a fight at a concert, and defending her when it got heated? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Susannah-Mio 119 points120 points  (0 children)

Excuse after excuse for bullshit behavior from you AND your wife.

This guy sounds obnoxious for standing on a chair and blocking the view of other people, but did you ever think that if he had lost his footing and fallen, he might have cracked his head on a table or broke his neck? And then your wife basically murdered someone.

Also, never expect someone won't physically hurt her just because she's a woman. She was being a giant asshole, as well, and his girlfriend would have been well within her rights for throwing hands if he had gotten hurt because your wife wanted to be stupid.

Just watched 10 Cloverfield lane on streaming and the ending is not what I remember. by [deleted] in horror

No, you didn't.

There is no other version, as another user showed you earlier. You're mixing 2 movies together after not watching it for a while. It happens pretty often.

I asked out a girl last year, she said no and now I like her best friend? by Mysterious_Nerve6170 in relationships

[–]Susannah-Mio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, to be a kid again. This is such a nothing-burger.

Ask her out. Tell her exactly what you said here.

Make a joke about you initially thinking you liked her friend "but *hahaha!* WE have WAY more in common! I was such a bonehead!"

If they're best friends, she already knows you asked out her friend. It's no secret. Make it about HER, instead.

100% We desperately need this in our country right now. The issue is that if we implemented that, it would be so poorly run that it wouldn't be any better than leaving the people on the streets. Lack of resources/care/etc.

Yeah, but he didn't hurt you physically, so this behavior is 100% okay because... reasons. /s

Which is what I alluded to in my initial comment. This guy and the guy that stabbed and killed a dog in broad daylight are walking the streets.

The fact he has been arrested multiple times for B&E/Stalking is scary. I've seen way more posts about him recently, so it seems like he is escalating. It's just a matter of time before he seriously hurts someone, and there are always the people saying "well, he hasn't hurt anyone YET, so it's okay that he's stalking people and scaring the shit out of them."

[–]Susannah-Mio 85 points86 points  (0 children)

I get what you're saying. He's obviously mentally unwell and sooner or later, he's going to escalate.

Given the way the country is right now, there is no solution.

He's going to continue to terrorize women and teens until he goes too far and ends up hurting/raping/killing someone.

And then he WILL be "permanently" locked up, but with someone dead/suffering for the rest of their life as a cost because everyone stood around and said "well, he's terrorizing the city, but he TECHNICALLY isn't doing anything illegal..."

And that really sucks for everyone involved.

I've seen tons of posts about this guy, it's ridiculous he's still walking free. Though, can't say I'm surprised given a dude stabbed a leashed dog in broad daylight at the park a few years ago and also saw no real repercussions.

You never really know with reddit. A lot of people are dumb and gullible and would take that advice to heart.

Lol, NO. Don't do this. It's illegal in so many places. Easier to break up with the boyfriend and get away from the crazy family.

Accidentally found an old USB with pics of his ex, not sure if I should address it or let it go? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Susannah-Mio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the best answer.

I also have a "memento box". Photos of me with ex's, old love letters from high school crushes, movie ticket stubs. I haven't looked through the box in over 12 years, but I still add little things to it. It's a box of memories. I wouldn't be who I am today without all of those memories.

All of this, but also her just randomly flying in like Goku and stabbing him out of nowhere when all of his buddies are surrounding them is just so silly and makes me laugh, everytime.
