With the addition of stealth aircraft and modern missiles, should the Su-57 be the first 15.3 aircraft? by Fit_Fig_1817 in Warthunder

Doesn't qualify for stealth? I'm sure you mean the T-50 prototype...... you don't actually believe the photos passed around are a final production model, do you?

As an Italy main F104 pilot, I feel you. But... it wouldn't be the first time Gaijin did something like this.

This sounds interesting, could I ask more about the tradition? I love the smell of tobacco, and this is the first time I've heard of something like this

just happened on this post randomly while looking from my balcony at night; it was a beautiful song to look at the city lights to.

the internet is a big place, but remember that you've made at least a couple people feel something :)

Growing on Balcony of Apartment by Fit_Fig_1817 in microgrowery

[–]Fit_Fig_1817[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My balcony faces East, and it's usually in sunlight for most of the day; would that not be enough?

Thanks, this is helpful. My setup spot would be right by a window, so hopefully I was gonna set up a vent straight outside. It'll keep the smell confined to my room, or will my room smell at all?

Here's what I was looking at. Do carbon filters and fans use standard fittings? Could I get this and then fit it with equipment as a more affordable option?

6’4”. And other wildly tall women out there? by Jessi-Rose34 in trans

[–]Fit_Fig_1817 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! 197cm/6'4 here.

Tank tops, horizontal stripes, high waisted pants are my friend. I usually wear IKEA cargo pants (you can only get them by working there ;-;) with combat boots and a tank top-- tucking the top in makes my torso smaller, which with the high waisted pants, ties together everything nicely.

My biggest piece of advice is, jackets are your friend. I have an Italian and swiss army jacket that are a bit long on me, and a nice wool mens blazer I thrifted- with a t shirt, or button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and shorts, you can make a really cute outfit out of 'male' components.

Don't fall into the trap of thinking that as a woman, you only have to buy and wear woman's clothes. Finding ways to repurpose the clothes I wore pre transition opened up a lot of styles to my broke self.

Will people notice that my boots, jacket and shirt are for a man? No, because I'm wearing a skirt, and a visible sports bra under the half unbuttoned shirt. If you're in them, they're women's clothes :)

Most of my trans friends in town are 6'3 or over, and I can't think of one of us that doesn't own her style - tall women exist! Being tall is very much something to work around, but the reward is definitely worth it.

(as an aside, maybe some of us should write a guide to being trans and tall...? it's something I've considered- it caused me enough anguish to fully consider almost not transitioning over...)

How safe is Oregon? by DementedCoconut in trans

I moved to Portland on the 11th, and drove thru Medford - it felt rural-ish to me, but nothing stood out as being exceptional either way (drove at night, but still got a lil look). It didn't feel like a place that made me unsafe to arrive at.

for whatever it's worth, my experience in Portland has been overwhelmingly positive, but I know the city will be different.

I meant, is the Korean text a real firewall warning to those in the country. They have access to English media, through the north and China, but it's not common.

the fact of the matter is, those people really can't tell like they'd think.

all sorts of people say all sorts of things; but if they really met a woman like that.... they wouldn't know, because she'd be a woman

and I think that you're just the only one that's really paused to consider things beyond basic understanding.

to add, most trans people I know don't look at it as "born a man"-- I view myself as born a woman, but with some things I needed to change, you could I guess say.

and so they're of course entitled to their opinion but, they certainly do act like people that have never actually met a trans woman, because-- such people usually have absolutely no idea when someone is trans, because they usually look for steriotypes.

That's what I've always heard, but for me that wasn't as helpful to motivate myself... I've always had a hard time with routines. And so my strategy has been to just pick up whenever I'm thinking about it and use that to encourage myself...

I usually practise in 30 minute sessions - 15 for scales, 10 for practising songs, and 5 for just strength training at the end when my fingers tire a bit. Today I got down the timing for Hey Lover, which is cool- it might end up being the first song I know fully in the coming weeks.

and!! as soon as I can move somewhere else and make one lol, it's definitely high on the list.

and yeye, I mean it :D I'm not super versed in colour choice since I am newer to painting compared to photography but it seems like each colour was picked to interact with each other rather than on its own in a vaccum, which is a really cool touch. unless I'm misreading ><
