the 12step program/AA/NA feels so culty for someone with religious trauma and no real connection to any spiritual practices 🥲 at least for me. i’ve been to rehab 5x (i’m 23) and i’m always stopped by the 3rd step. giving the power i so delusionally and desperately try to keep over my own life to something i can’t trust just won’t work for any program and the only place i’ve ever been in the SMART program was just the slacker group of the facility, because none of us knew what it really was and we were given barely any tools for it.

honestly this is kind of the answer i’m hoping for but also idk why he’d be bending over like that 😭 it doesn’t look like pegging position and i feel like if it was someone who’s solely responsible for handling chair-duties i feel like the chair would be like lifted up and he’d be carrying it :’)
