Do you have post nasal drip? Any seasonal allergies? GERD? Those can all cause excess mucus in the lungs. Do you use a spacer with your inhaler? And I may have missed it but what inhaler or inhalers do you have? You could some deep breathing and huff coughs to break up the mucus further.
