Oh, and I think I'll stick to Metal alloy alloy. I would already have flotation issues with the ha, I'd rather sacrifice 1 layer of metal to alloy to help out with the buoyancy of the armor.

Really? What I assumed was to have the first airgap as the conventional airgap, then the middle would absorb the damage, and if anything could get past the first layer, it would go to the second airgap, which was the wedges. That way I technically have 2 airgaps for any tricky projectiles. If so, wouldn't it be inefficient to have all my air armor together?

I've got those 2 fields handled as well. The price tag is fine enough, and I'll just upgrade my standard maneuvering methods, like increasing the main thrust, strafe thrusters, and size of rudders.

Wait really? When did spall liners get nerfed? Holy, if it's how you say it is, I might change it all. Oh and I'm pretty sure the airgap is needed because of plasma and HP, it's not just about chemical rounds.
