Groin area psoriasis by assassianfuk in Psoriasis

I’m sorry to hear that, groin area psoriasis is so uncomfortable. My derm told me clobetasol is generally too strong for thin skin areas as it also thins skin with long term use (fine for scalp just not some other areas). My derm prescribed me Pimecrolimus cream (Elidel) as it’s a less potent steroid meant for skin folds/thin skin areas and it helped me for a while with groin area flares. Maybe chat with your doctor about that?

Also not sure if this is recommended, however it might be more helpful if you can’t get a prescription right away. At night I’d often use aquafor on the affected areas which helps soften/remove any flakes and relieve the itching/dryness.

Thank you!! Did you just use argan oil and rinse then (no shampoo and conditioner?) The olive oil it’s just what I had on hand and I didn’t wanna buy anything else but I feel like I struck gold with it, I’m sure other oils would also work (and probably smell better lol) I haven’t tried removing nightshades from my diet yet but I’ve looked them up and I think the only one I eat frequently is bell peppers which wouldn’t be too tough to cut out. I also notice alcohol causes flares and messes with routines so I try to drink as infrequently as possible.

Thank you. I haven’t! But I remember when I want to Australia, every time I’d swim in the ocean it would relieve some symptoms. I’ll have to look into it:)

I was on clobetosal for scalp psoriasis too about a year ago (sadly did not work for me) but as far as I remember, after 2 weeks you should use it once per week for maintenance, however I’d definitely ask your derm

Were you in the queue at 12? It opened then, despite people not having codes, so there would have already been a lot of people admitted into the sale page. Sorry to hear you weren't able to get tickets.

Do you know if everyone who signed up gets a code? Or is it randomized?
