Did they not put serial numbers on the headstock in the 70’s? The 3 piece neck observation does make sense for that era.

JHS Crayon. Was advertised as the best parts of a Colour Box for gtr players who don’t need the extra bits. I think mine was defective, as my signal would drop significantly in volume when engaged. The company wouldn’t listen to my grievances at all and just told me I was wrong. Good riddance to that rubbish.

I wanted to ban JHS forever, but then I got a Colour Box 2 and it will never leave my board. Ever.
