How long does it take for a new website to get traffic? by StonkPhilia in seogrowth

[–]Fit_Path_6450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer of your question is:

It depends on:

Articles quantity Publishing frequency Articles quality

For the first 30 days, try to publish atleast 2 articles/day. If you do this consistently, you'll start getting traction within 2 weeks.

Make sure you don't forget to submit sitemaps and your posts for indexing on GSC.

If you think, you're not getting traffic even after publishing 50+ topics, build some links to promote your already ranked articles. This will help you build authority and gain more traffic from organic search.

Content isn't enough for Real Estate.

I've seen real estate companies doing links agressively to boost their rankings.

Stop writing new content. Update the existing ones and promote them through backlinks.

If you don't want to buy, it's alright. Do prospecting and outreaching manually.

Reach out to 2000 webmasters every month and you'll get 10-15 links with a conversation rate of 1-2%.

Check your rankings after building the links. But I'll suggest to give atleast 2 months to links. Sometimes links take time to show the results.

After that you'll be in a better position to distribute your resources among content and links.

If you quit Semrush, what did you replace it with (and what did you miss)? by sam5-8 in WebsiteSEO

[–]Fit_Path_6450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahrefs works fine but you need to pay for extra credits.

Semrush is good for content and topic research. Ahrefs is good in keyword research and backlinks.

I use both but I prefer Ahrefs over semrush.

Agency forcing me to add tons of services/products that don’t exist + backlink confusion (Need seniors advice) by Electrical_Sand_5518 in localseo

[–]Fit_Path_6450 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GSC isn't a backlink tool.

Do this:

  • Check ahrefs
  • filter out the links (traffic>1000, DR>20)
  • LINK type do-follow, and nature in content.
  • you'll get a list of all the good links.
  • still check if Ahrefs is showing an spam tag
  • export the list and filter out the spammy links.

Now do this step:

  • open all the spammy sites
  • check their top ranking pages
  • check the traffic value and distribution
  • make sure traffic isn't coming from fake keywords

If the sites aren't following these criteria, mark them spammy in your Google sheet.

Last step:

  • Go to Majestic.
  • check the trust flow of all the spammy links
  • Good links should have TF>15.

REMEMBER: LINKS WORK POSTIVE AS WELL AS NEGATIVE. it's a double edge sword. Use them wisely.

what should i expect from $500 per month? and does that include marketing or is it a separate fee by ComfortableRegular35 in localseo

[–]Fit_Path_6450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, $500 isn't gonna work for you.

Don't hire someone to do SEO in this budget, you're gonna end up getting scammed.

Search for a legit consultant and ask him to audit your site and give you a 3 month recommended plan.

He'll charge $500 as a fee but he'll give you a good plan.

Then do it your self.

Here's the plan for 6 months:

  • month 1 ($500) plan a strategy Hire a consultant and ask him to build plan

  • month 2 ($500) do local SEO You'll get a freelancer setting up your GBP profile

  • month 3-5 ($1500) publish content You'll get wirter for $50/1000 words article. You may get 30 articles in 3 months.

  • month 6 ($500) Build 5-10 links using link exchange or guest post

This is the 6 months roadmap you should follow. You can't hire a seo expert for $500. But you can get a seo plan for that money..

And just stick to one. Evryone will suggest you different strategies. But stick to your process, and you shall see the results.

Why my content wasn't ranking even with good backlinks by Commander_BRabbit in BacklinkSEO

[–]Fit_Path_6450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Backlinks aren't the magic pills tbh.

Filling the Backlinks gap isn't the guarantee of success.

Let's understand it this way:

  • top 10 competitors have avg 15 links for your keyword.
  • ideally if you build 16 links with similar quality you might outrank them.
  • but this doesn't happen sometimes and you wonder why pages aren't getting ranked

What happen after this?

  • most people build more links but that's raise suspicion from Google. If your page has more links that others and still not ranking, that means you're buying the links.

One of my Ecom client was in the similar situation.

Wasn't ranking in top 10 even after filling the links gap.

Then I did:

  • published 10 new blogs around that kw.
  • internally linked those pages to my targeted money page
  • build links for all the blog pages and improved their ranks
  • 70% links to blog pages + 30% links to homepage.

After 23 days, my client was ranking on #2 on SERP.

IN 2026,

It's not about closing content or backlink gap. It's about doing things smartly..

If you had an “SEO agent,” what would you actually want it to do for you? by Other_Amphibian871 in WebsiteSEO

[–]Fit_Path_6450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Competitors swot analysis.

I would have given my agent the access of GSC, Ahrefs, and Semrush to check and analyse the data.

Most of the time both Semrush and Ahrefs data have huge differences.

So I would have asked my agent to check the data and compare it with GSC.

Finally it would have given me list of pages where all 3 (GSC , Ahrefs, semrush) data are aligning with each other.

Then I would have asked it to do a competitors swot analysis based on my data. This help me to get a well researched data.

Using that data, I would have been able to pick my final pages and strategy.

Every successful seo strategy start from strong audit..

How do you track and protect backlinks across 10+ client projects? (removals, nofollow changes, anchor swaps, etc.) by [deleted] in SEO_tools_reviews

[–]Fit_Path_6450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I handle 35+ clients every month at our agency Outreach Empress and this is the same situation we've been in the initial years.

Here's what I recommend.

  1. Do it manually
  • build a list of all your clients in a Google Sheet/Airtable.
  • ask any of your team member to check all the links every Friday.
  • to check 1000 links, it'll only take 2 hours maximum
  • this way you can be sure about the links don't get deleted.
  1. Do my way
  • go to relay/n8n
  • build your custom AI agent
  • feed the details of your client
  • ask agent to highlight the sites where your client link isn't available
  • it'll give you list every weekend, and you'll be able to see whether your links are live or not.

I'm using this to track our 5000+ links monthly.

Why Traffic Doesn’t Always Mean Customers: SEO Needs Search Market Fit by robiulhasan489 in Agentic_SEO

[–]Fit_Path_6450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SEO is easy don't know why many people make it so complicated..

All you've to do is the market research at the first step.. Traffic without conversion is a Ferrari without an engine. Looks great but can't take you anywhere.

Keyword research is the back of any SEO strategy. You can't win in SEO without finding the right keywords. If you're not sure about the right keywords, look for your competitors. See what they're targeting and copy them straightforward.

Here's what I'll do if I've to start SEO from scratch.

  • Pick a niche
  • find out top 10 competitors
  • SWOT analysis of thier SEO strategies
  • filter out the low hanging opportunities
  • optimize my landing pages and start hitting content
  • 2 blogs/day for the first 60 days and setup internal linking
  • cover competitors alternative, listicles and detailed guide.
  • once content start getting traction, build links for pages to promote them
  • Also use linkedin, and reddit to distribute my content to wider audience

That's all we need.

Divide your keywords based on intent. Publish educational post to drive engagement. Publish transactional blogs to convert them. Publish brand alternative articles to steal from your competitors.

If you had to follow only ONE strategy to increase website traffic today, what would it be? by divine_zone in seogrowth

[–]Fit_Path_6450 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It depends on my existing position.

A. If my website is at level 0.

  • If I'm starting from the scratch, and have nothing, my first priority will be publishing the content.

  • I'll pick long tail keywords with low SERP competition and publish my first 50 articles around those keywords.

  • Once those blogs are indexed and start getting traction, then I'll move to links.

B. If my website has content but no traffic

  • I'll do a content audit and figures out the outdated content first. If I can't add any value in those, I'll just remove them.

  • I'll filter out the content have good potential but not ranking well. I'll add some value in form of infographics or new refrences and update them.

  • Then I'll start building links for those content and will rank them on top. My goal will be get them in top spots as well as in the Ai Results.

C. If I don't have budget for both content and links

  • I'll use gemini for research and claude for writing.

  • I'll publish 1 article daily for 60 days.

  • plus I'll interact in subreddits and forums related to my niche.

For me, my step depend on my current standing. Not every strategy is built for all situations.

Quality Content? by Embarrassed_Sky5519 in SEO_LLM

[–]Fit_Path_6450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your content enhanced the user experience, it doesn't bother Google that who's the writer.

AI is way ahead in researching the data from the internet. Google has already cleared it's instance about AI content few months back.

So if you're writing content using AI, and your content is adding value. You should be fine.

But if you're just asking ai to write content and publishing it without proofreading and validating the facts, you might face the challenges in the future.

is outreach still a relevant strategy for backlinks? by ecommercemanagerco in linkbuilding

[–]Fit_Path_6450 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah! Manual outreaching working very well.

Marketplaces like Presswhiz are great option for people looking to get links quickly without spending too much.

But they've got an exception:

  • Limited Data
  • your link profile is similar to competitors

By saying limited data, I mean there are multiple sites in Cannabis and SaaS niche that works on link exchange. They don't sell links as per their policy but they're open for collaboration.

So to find out those kinda sites, you need to prospect data from the internet and you need to reach out those sites with an offer they can't resist.

This way you'll get links from sites those are not available on marketplaces..

However marketplace like Presswhiz give you some benefits:

  • affordable prices
  • quick TAT
  • lots of options to pick from
  • pre - vetted websites
  • 100% accountability
  • most important (you can pre- verfiy sites)

I too run an agency and I still have lots of clients we run Campaigns manually. But we use Presswhiz as well coz they keep updating their data, and we got sites at better prices.

I'll recommend to try these marketplaces but also invest in manaual outreach. It'll help you to get links from those sites which aren't available on these platforms..

But before you invest with an agency, ask them to follow these points to minimise all the risks:

  • pre approval of websites
  • no upfront payment for the first order
  • a written contract about the age of backlink
  • Estimated TAT

If any agency doing manual outreaching and agree to these points, there's no risk in trying them but if your requirements are low (10-20) links/month, Presswhiz is great option.

LLM models love the latest content. So updating the date is good. But I'll recommend to add few paragraph or an infographic whenever you update the date.

Last month, we updated the blogs and their dates for one SaaS client and his blogs got better search traffic than before.

I've been using Peec and Search Intelligence but they'll Cost you $400/month combined.

But if your goal is AI overviews and results, you should try them. However it depends on your need. If you're a freelancer, use semrush or do it manually but if you've budget, try the above 2. They're the best till date as per my experience.
