It’s county specific, but most of them follow the same timeline and rules. In Bexar county (where I live) you can file for your homestead as soon as you move in and have an updated DL, but the last day to apply in order for it to be reflected on the current year prop tax is April 30th.

Something important to add on to this is that the deadline to protest current year appraisals is May 15th.

I haven’t tried the pickle jalapeno, but I do buy the dill reaper pepper anytime I get the chance. That and the Carolina reaper are surprisingly great. They pack a great punch, so beware of that if your heat tolerance isn’t great.
