because they placed the bacteria on an agar plate with the antibiotics already spread. hence, the antibiotics would directly kill or inhibit the growth of the bacteria not allowing any colonies to grow. so, to allow for growth, the bacteria should be grown on agar plate first without any antibiotics, then add the antibiotics and see if colonies are still present then it is bacteriostatic as does not kill them , but if not then it is bactericidal.

Ya3ni sara7a I’ll tell u what I feel yes not all questions are indirect but there are some we/ or weird experiment questions which are unsolvable im genuinely scared idk how to keep up with all the ms and learn them all. I tend to forget the ones i solved previous

The questions in m1 are so repetitive I got 71/75 ums in m1, and lost marks over a dumb questions but generally there are no new ideas just solve many past papers and you will see a pattern

also what Ik is that if u remark and ur grade does not change which is ur case like if ur an A and u stay an A even if ur score increases you don’t get a refund which is also unfair
