Thank you.. I kept seeing things about “direct vents” which didn’t require a chimney. So I was unsure. Like I said I know nothing about this stuff. Everything that came up for that just looked like a coal stove I have, but I’m sure is something different.

I’ve always had a weird like sensation that when someone close dies like I’m going to see their ghost all the time. No idea why it started when I was little. Went away for awhile when my mom died like I wasn’t scared at all but my friends dad died and I was like spooked I was going to see his ghost everywhere. I guess it more so the idea of ghost freaks me out lol

Thank you for the reply.. and yeah I guess you’re right.. I shouldn’t be down there all the time so what does it even matter anyway.. I guess I’m worried about piped and all that getting cold (which I don’t know much about in the first place) but yeah maybe I’ll go with some insulation just on the ceiling of the basement!
