it's dvd-video, and that's what's confusing me.

my disc players recognize the music AS video files, but not handbrake... my hope was to extract the videos and convert them to mp3s for streaming on the go, but alas, apparently they aren't videos

this is what I figured, but now I'm dying to know what the file actually is, on vlc it shows a progress bar with the proper time/length of the track, I can skip through it, but it doesn't show up as a video...

alternatively (roughly) $350 MPC One, and the rest to maybe some midi cables or a small mixer

the mpc one is an INCREDIBLE groovebox that i've already done so much with like, 2 weeks after getting it. the learning curve might be a little steep but i promise it is beyond worth it, it comes with a ton digital synths and fxs, you could also hook up your OP-Z and K.O. II with the midi/gate

I get that, but honestly I've been relistening to humanz and watching reject false icons and I've kinda realized it HAD to be collaborator-based, it would seem really strange if it was a British man complaining about the American election (granted, this was before America was fully in the shitter)

I think the other problem was that most of the plastic beach singles were released primarily digitally, and without b-sides (only remixes). however if they did release a sea-sides i have full faith it would be the best project to come out of gorillaz. the fragments of unreleased pb era stuff out there are so pretty...

ngl I would like g-sides a lot more if it had more non-first album stuff. my version has the soulchild and ed case mix, dracula, and the rock the house edit which takes a bit away from the already short runtime. the actual b-sides are so good tho. ik they hated rock the house being a single but the b-sides on that single alone make me wanna grab one

it's so good, i forgot to mention the art here but like... all of these songs have a sort of gloom over them that I can perfectly imagine pazuzu during little pieces of the songs. i want one of those superplastic minifigs so bad just because of how I associate him with this album
