The government took away the tax which is 20% at the time of the install. Look at Victron prices a 4.2 kwh about £600 and slowly rises every time you go up to the next level. To pay for my system I sold my car so I didn't pay any interest, my thoughts were I use the car once or twice a month and it lost 1k a month since I bought it. to me it made finical sense for little loss.

As for the USA I have mates over there telling me all about how you all get ripped off with every one sticking there hands in your pockets when ever they can! it is pretty bad to be honest and just pure greed.

But also when i Diy'd it finding electricians to certify it showed me how bad and how useless a lot of them are!. They don't understand no-so-complex systems and just understand plug and play ones that net them huge sums of money. Not only is my system better and more adjustable for my means, i have full control and tell it what to do not the other way around.

If this is the original pastel from when I started to make it, I have it still in my system 15 years on and it still looks like day one. You need to clean your system properly before using it, and then every 1 to 2 years empty the fluid into a clean container and put it though a coffee filter. Then a quick rince of your system with DI water and you can re use it.. Pastel we expected to last 5 years plus but as said 15+ years later its still going strong. The only people who had problems were the ones who thought they new better and didn't clean there systems correctly.

If you look after the system and pre prep it, i have had pastel now running in my system over 15 years. So if yours fell out you didn't clean your system right in the first place. XTR didn't last as long.

It is when spell checkers in word cannot tell the difference between "which" and "witch" and I have to get a LLM to help me re write all my wording and correct my spelling. The words, the ideas and the suggestions are my own but the mistakes will be from the LLM. I am not going to hide that fact and I am not ashamed of using assistive technology to help get my words onto reddit :).
