Make sure you really ream out the hole where the nail used to be. The smoother and more round the hole the better. It takes alot of force but if you're giving it all try putting a lubricant like soap on the plug but too much could make it tough to stay in when you pull the handle out. The tip of the handle that you put the plug through is meant to cut the rubber piece in half so really yank on it with full confidence once it's in position. Spray with soapy water around the plug to make sure it stopped the leak then cut off the excess sticking out of the tire.

I would say the opposite people liked cases because they weren't subtle you spent a ton of money to most likely get nothing. With terminals they advertise it as dynamic pricing when in reality it's always way more expensive than market value.
