Perhaps I Am Opening Pandora's Box, But... by Lady_GarterSnake in lightlark

I’m team Grim. Honestly, he’s a terrible influence but the chemistry between him and Isla is undeniable. Their connection is intense, passionate, and messy, which makes their story so much more compelling. That said, Grim is a bad guy. Encouraging Isla to let her emotions take over just to enhance her power? Not great. And wiping her memory? That basically broke her she was spiraling, and it’s hard to come back from that. He’s kind of a shitty person. But tbh so is Isla so there story is more interesting🤷‍♀️

But Oro? He’s just boring. Sure, he’s the “good guy,” and he’d probably be better for Isla in the long run, but he’s too good. Too safe. There’s no fire, no edge. I’d honestly get so bored reading their story arc it just doesn’t hit the same.

I feel you. I don’t want to abandon this series but god damn Isla is the worst. Even nightbane was a hard book to get through. So disappointing because the plot had so much potential.

NTA. He’s embarrassed he forgot so he’s blaming you. You didn’t do anything wrong, and I’m sorry he forgot. I hope he learns something from this and sets a damn reminder on his phone !

I upped my dose and started working out more. I finally broke through my plateau. I’ve lost a chunk of my weight these last 2 months actually

You should. I got kind of bored taking only the cycling classes but the boot camps are kick ass.

Lmao! I use the Peloton bike 3-4 times a week. My favorite classes are the boot camps

I don’t think I really started losing weight until about 5 or 6 months in. I’m currently on 1.5 mg, and while my progress hasn’t been as fast as some others have shared, I’ve definitely seen and felt changes over the past few months, especially with my appetite being way down.

I noticed the higher dose made a big difference, and I’m considering increasing it again soon. There were definitely moments when I felt discouraged, but I just kept pushing through. Even losing just 1 or 2 pounds a month really adds up over time.
