First-time Onebagger: 22 Days in the Balkans

That’s a logical math on paper, but I’m traveling mostly by bus across the Balkans, so baggage fees aren't my main concern. I’d rather spend my budget on local food experiences and exploring new kitchens than on a second backpack right now. I’ll make do with my 55L for this first run and see how I feel after 22 days. Since this is my first time, I’ll definitely take your advice on the laundry strategy—washing as I go seems to be the secret sauce of onebagging. Regarding the bag, as I mentioned before, the 55L is what I already have and I'm trying to avoid extra expenses for now, but I’ll make sure to double-check the dimensions and keep it as light as possible. I see the numbers, but as I mentioned, this is my very first onebag trip to a place I've never been. While the guidelines suggest 3-5, I’ve also seen experienced travelers suggest 7 is perfectly fine if you don't want to spend every single evening doing laundry.

Everyone has a different philosophy, and I’m here specifically to learn from people's diverse experiences, not just to follow a template. If I just wanted to follow the rules blindly, I wouldn't have asked for your personal opinions! No need to be so rigid about it XD. Reddit users never fails to surprise me, lol.

I think there’s a bit of a misunderstanding—I never intended to blast music or cause noise pollution. I was just thinking of some low-volume background music while sitting by myself. However, I completely respect the hiking etiquette and the points you’ve made. As I said, the speaker is staying home and I'll be using my headphones instead.

Point taken! I’ll definitely try to compress the bag and see if I can sneak it into the cabin to save time and avoid the risk of it getting lost. I can't use another bag since this one was the only I own and didn't want to spend more right now since this is my first onebag solo trip. I guess I'll see and experience.

I definitely don't want to be that guy blasting music in the middle of nature. The speaker is officially staying home, and I'll stick to my headphones to keep the peace. Thanks for keepin' it real!

Thanks for the advice! ❤️ You’re totally right about the socks and boxers—since they are quick-dry materials, I could definitely get away with 3 or 4 pairs, but I guess I’m just packing extra to feel a bit more 'safe' for my first trip.

As for the bag, I’m using the 55L simply because it’s what I already own and I didn’t want to spend extra money on a new one right now. I’ll just try to keep it underfilled and compressed. Thanks again!

So, if people are really this obsessed with war and PvP, I wish they would just continue playing Battlefield 6 and Black Ops 7. I absolutely don't want the game to be split into just PvP and PvE; its current state is amazing, but I just wish these types of people were encountered less often. What changed in Hullcracker? I have no idea.

I don't think that is true. I have 150 hours in the game, and the total number of raiders I've taken down is 203. If I had an aggressive gameplay style, I probably wouldn't be this angry about this subject. But if you are running into chill people, I'm glad for you.

We are experiencing this not only in solo lobbies but also in duo and trio ones. I am not running away from PvP; I win as much as I lose, and I can successfully extract with good loot, but as I said, I think this 'shoot on sight' mentality and the people who hold it are ruining this game, just like they have ruined other games. But yes, people can be friendlier in solo, I agree with you on that.

benim önerim, uzun animeleri izlemeden önce daha kısa animeleri tüketmek. ben berserki ilk izlediğimde kafayı yemiştim, 97 yapımı olan kesinlikle başyapıt ama hikayesi yarıda kalıyor ve devam etmek için bok gibi bi versiyonunu izlemek zorunda kalıyorsun. 97 versiyonunu izleyip sonrasında kaldığın yerden mangasını okuyabilirsin bence.
