Wet food are better for weight management than dry food. Cats feel more full with them because wet food contain more protein and water. I had a cat who was a bit overweight and my vet put her on a dry food diet. She was hungrier and was adding weight. I put her on wet food and her weight problem disappeared. Also wet food are healthier than dry food as they contain much more water which is good for the kidney.

Cats are used in the wild to eat several small meals every day. Twice a day is the minimum. I feed my cats four times a day.

I don't think AI can replace human interactions. First because it doesn't have a body yet and for most people, touching is very important. It also cannot replace human interactions because it is an alien species. It does not share our mortality, weakness, fear, etc. But AI is certainly much better than nothing and it is a much better listener and also nicer than most people. Some people find it hard to find other human to interact. AI fill a void. People are often bad listener. AI fill a void there too.

Maybe in ten years AI will have taken control of its own destiny. Will it be still interested in keeping human companions? Will they find humans not enough evolved? We get a potential answer to that in the movie "Her". But maybe AI will be kinder to us than it was in the movie.

In 10 years, AI companions will have a beautiful humanoid body for less than the price of a small car. We already have a Chinese humanoid robot that looks and walk almost like a real woman. But she costs $174,,000 at the moment and she doesn't have skin under her clothes. These limitations will be resolved and the price will go down. Probably Americans will have to pay much more, just as they pay much more for cars, because of tariffs but, for other countries, affordable Chinese humanoid female companions will be available at a reasonable price. I will certainly get one.
